Last November a homeowner in Wantage stepped out of a shower in his bathroom and noticed a suspicious black box covered by some tools. The box and tools belonged to Vernon electrician Ed Krenicky who was hired to renovate the bathroom. When the homeowner examined the box more closely he noticed a micro SD Card inside. On Tuesday in Sussex County Superior Court Krenicky admitted that he was video recording members of the family when they were in the bathroom. His plead guilty to one count each of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Invasion of Privacy. One of the family members recorded in various staged of undress was a juvenile. In court Krenicky told the judge he did it for "curiosity" then when questioned further admitted he did it for his own "gratification." Under his plea deal Krenicky faces up to three years in prison and will register under Megan's Law for the rest of his life.
