My "Like father like daughter" Weekend in Pictures

My Saturday began with two live broadcasts. First, I was at the fall open house at Sussex County Community College. The turnout was great and many listeners came to visit me at the WSUS table. Of course, I love the nice spread the college puts out for breakfast. Then it was on to the "Big Tent Event" at Toyota World of Newton. Right after I got there at noon it started to get pretty busy. We actually had a line at the table. It was great to see everyone at both live broadcasts. On Sunday I decided to make it a lazy day. It was cold and rainy but I still managed to take care of a few things that needed to be done around the house. The big project was cleaning off the cushions on my outdoor furniture and bringing everything inside. My basement gets pretty packed but it's worth it. The temperature stays pretty warm near the boiler all winter. I think the warmth is the reason my summer furniture has lasted 16 years. I also had some fun playing with my dog Maddie. My son Dave loves to buy her toys. He bought her a new toy Saturday Night. Her favorite game is playing keep away with me. Finally, I think some of the good examples I set for my daughter Kim are finally rubbing off. When I sat down at the kitchen table to have lunch she was cutting out grocery coupons! Yes! After years of making fun of me for being a bargain hunter one of my kids is finally catching on. There's hope for you yet Kim!
