My "Big Party" weekend in pictures

Where has the time gone? The last four years have just flown by. One thing I've learned over the years is kids grow up fast. Do the best you can to make the most of the time you have when they're little. When my kids were little I was a single parent. Birthday Parties were modest but still fun. Times are a little better now. That being said, yesterday, we had the largest birthday party ever at my home in Matamoras. I knew it was going to be epic when my daughter told me fourteen 4 year old kids, mostly from Gracie's preschool, would be coming. Her god parents made the trip from Long Island with their two daughters as well. Gracie was so happy to see everyone. I don't think she could have felt more loved and special for her 4th birthday. That's really what life is all about for me. My living room and porch were packed with people but I think everyone (kids, parents and family) enjoyed the food and had an awesome time. Kim and Jimmy even booked Macaroni the clown. He was great with the kids and hilarious. For the first time in years, I also decided to make home made potato salad for the party. The recipe goes back to my great grand ma. We even managed to replace the kitchen faucet on Saturday while preparing for the party. Most importantly, I survived!
