A Happy Ending for a goat living in the cliffs near Route 80

A female goat that's been living in the hills above Route 80 in Warren County is finally safe. Thanks to some very devoted animal lovers. Her rescuer the owner of Buddha Dog Rescue and Recovery has named her "Blizzard." Nicole Asher has been trying to capture the goat ever since she was spotted only a few feet from the guard rail along Route 80 in Allamuchy. Back in October several goats escaped from a slaughter house in Hackettstown. Two of them have already been captured and taken to a goat sanctuary in Hampton. Asher was finally able to climb down the cliffs near the highway and get "Blizzard" to go into an enclosure Wednesday Night. Then she closed the door behind her. Blizzard is now safe and getting much needed care at Antler Ridge Wildlife Sanctuary in Newton.
