My Epic Weekend In Pictures

Overall this was a rather low key weekend but I had fun seeing friends and watching NFL Playoff Football. Just like Friday when Steve Andrews asked how I could care so much even with the Patriots being eliminated, I answered "simple. I have no life!" LOL. While I do have such an amazing life thanks to so many in my world, football is escapism for me. I love the strategy battles back and forth and the reasons behind them. It's also entertaining to me when you have former players and coaches who have differing viewpoints on strategic decisions too.

Saturday afternoon I had a quick lunch at The Windlass right on Lake Hopatcong. I absolutely love water views! The sun was shining just enough to kiss the water. I made it a point to do lunch instead of dinner, since It's still dark around 5ish which would kind of defeat the purpose of my adventure to see the water.

Then Saturday afternoon and evening were all about enjoying NFL Playoff Football.

Sunday, besties Christine and Chris reached out to me knowing that the Patriots were done and I was a free agent to go over their place for football fun. They're entertained because I'm such a nerd and passionate. This was particularly entertaining. With the 1pm game being Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills, everyone still had the near recent tragedy on their minds. Everyone also had the "storybook," opening kick off touchdown return from last week against the New England Patriots. As a result, CBS was constantly replaying that magical play over and over and over and over again. I kept yelling "please spare me, let me heal I'm trying to move on from this!"

They kept showing it still...over....and over......and over again. LOL.

I enjoyed relaxing at home listening to the sounds of snow guns going on making snow at Mountain Creek. Maybe next weekend I'll start to get back to one of my favorite parts of living here in the winter, watching skiers and snowboarders at Mountain Creek from my deck! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my Epic Weekend In Pictures. My laptop here at work had a case of the Mondays for my first hour here, that's why we had to make this one a little more brief. Thank you for taking the time to read my Epic Weekend In Pictures. Time to start planning next weekend!
