Today we are going to bring a very special girl, she's really going to tug at those heartstrings! This is Brooke, a beautiful, affectionate 12 year old who has been with us for nearly 3 months. Her story is so sad - she was thrown outside, discarded like trash, and there is no way she would have survived more than a day or two not only because she's a senior, but because she has hyperthyroid. Luckily, the people responsible were found, but we still need a home for Brooke! Her favorite place is the big window in the lobby, but that just makes this more heartbreaking because she is always watching everyone go home, wondering when it will be her turn....
