Plane Crashes in Wantage Township

A small plane crashed at Sussex Airport in Wantage Township, New Jersey, on Tuesday morning, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The single-engine Cessna 150 crashed around 11:45 a.m. with only the pilot on board.

The pilot managed to get out of the plane by himself and was not seriously injured, according to local officials. The FAA is currently investigating the cause of the crash.

The Sussex Airport, located on County Road 629 in Wantage Township, is home to many single- and twin-engine propeller planes. The airport spans a 96-acre campus and has one runway.
