White House Reaching Out To International Leaders On Jerusalem Crisis

The White House reportedly is reaching out to world leaders to help quiet the crisis in Jerusalem.  According to CNN, a senior Trump administration official says presidential adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner is leading the effort to work with the Israelis, Palestinians and Jordanians.

The U.S. Ambassador to Israel, U.S. consul-general in Jerusalem, and President Trump's special envoy have been talking with leaders in the Middle East.  Three attackers shot and killed two Israeli police officers near a site sacred to Jews and Muslims earlier this month leading Israel to install metal detectors and security cameras at the Temple Mount, as it's known to Jews, or al-Haram al-Sharif to Muslims.
