This weekend started with me watching a terrible movie about a radio talk show host on Netflix Friday Night. "On the Line" featured Mel Gibson as a radio talk show host. I like Mel Gibson movies usually. "Signs" and "Patriot" are two of my all time favorites. His new movie on Netflix was gripping all the way through. However, the ending was really dumb and since I'm in the business I saw it coming.
Saturday Morning I was up real early so I started working on the Spring clean up around my house. The rain the night before actually made it a little easier to handle the leaves and weeds in my driveway boxes. They're done and look great. Today I'll mow the front lawn and finish mulching the flower beds in front of my house. Then I'll be done with that for now.
My dog Millie continues to recover from getting "fixed" on Wednesday. Saturday Night she came in from the yard reeking of mildew and dirt. I knew she was getting into something. So Sunday Morning I went outside to look around. It didn't take me long to find a huge hole under my side deck. I tossed an old tree stump and a chunk of concrete in the hole for now. Hopefully, three bags of cheap top soil will be enough to fill in the hole. Then I'll have to put something over the hole and re-attach the trellis she knocked down. I wonder what she was digging for? Well, at least the weather will be nice for the next couple of days so I can work outside.
Sunday Night we made chicken stir fry with perogies. I ate way too much of everything. It was so good!
