Many are saying this is a huge win for Sussex County, with the state purchasing over 2200 acres of forest land from Hudson Farm. This purchase north of $5 million will ensure that this beautiful land will permanently remain undeveloped. Hudson Farms is one of the most beautiful areas we have in Sussex County, with their land hitting Sparta, Byram and Hopatcong. A couple of summers ago I fell head over heels in love with Hudson Farms when my friends Tim and Beth Tiger took me skeet shooting. This was one of the most fun and powerful experiences of my life. Hudson Farms has done so much charitable work for Sussex County and beyond for many years, I'm psyched that this remain beautiful. By the way, if you ever get the chance to go skeet shooting, take it!
