While Veterans Day is today, November 11th it is actually being observed tomorrow the 12th. No mail on Monday, federal and state offices will be closed.
But it's not about the closures nor the sales going on as we inch closer to the holidays, nor the day off some of us get. Veterans Day is a day to honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces to keep our country free. For that, I will be eternally grateful to our military.
