Franklin Borough Police have arrested 26 year old Amanda Toth from Wantage after she allegedly texted bomb threats to the owner of the Franklin McDonald's and an employee of the restaurant. The owner of the Route 23 restaurant called police around 9:30 Monday Morning. Police responded and evacuated the McDonald's. The administration at the Franklin Borough School and Hardyston Elementary were notified and took appropriate action. The Franklin Elementary School is directly across the street from the restaurant on Route 23. One of the texts to a restaurant employee specifically said: "People would be injured." A state police explosives detecting dog cleared the restaurant. During that investigation a McDonald's employee in Hamburg received another threat. The state police canine cleared the employees home as well.Toth was arrested after a police followed several leads. Her cell phone contained an application which allegedly allowed her to disguise her actual phone number when she texted the threats.Source: NJ.COMRead more here
