This is very sad for me. I have know so many wonderful individuals who have dedicated their lives to helping others in the Catholic Church. I grew up in working class neighborhoods in Hudson County and the Catholic Church was always there to help the needy. I met and learned from many wonderful priests at Seton Hall University. Over the course of my 30 plus years in radio I have seen first hand the dedication and love many local priests and sisters. Yesterday the 5 New Jersey Dioceses released the names of 180 priests who have been credibly accused of child abuse. The list does not say when the priests served. Some have passed away and none of the priests on the list are serving in local churches now. By definition, "credibly accused" means the church feels there is "some merit" to the accusation.
