The C.D.C. says Triatomines are native to the Southern U.S, Mexico and Central America. Over the past few decades these "Kissing Bugs" have been spreading across the country. They're already in Pennsylvania and there's been a confirmed report of a Triatomine bite in Delaware. Although the bug has not been reported in New Jersey yet experts at Rutgers University and the C.D.C. believe it might be here already. If not then it will be here soon. So here's what makes these bugs are so nasty. These blood suckers tend to bite people in the face! That's why they're nick named "Kissing Bugs." Triatomines also help spread a dangerous parasite that can cause life long heart problems.
