The newest campus of Kean University is ready to accept students. The Kean Skylands Campus has been planned since 2014. That's when the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection agreed to lease 40 acres of land in Oak Ridge to the University. Previously the property was a religious retreat owned by the Paulist Fathers. The new campus will have 9 classrooms, a gym, 24 residential rooms and an area for events. The campus will offer 4 year degrees in Biology, Criminal Justice, Business Management and Psychology. Students will also have the option of taking some classes on line. On Tuesday June 11th the new campus will be open for potential students. If you register that day the $75.00 fee will be waved. Admissions counselors will be at the campus to fast track the application and admission process. Transfer students are welcome. The main campus of Kean University is in Union.
