Specialist Ronald Wildrick of Blairstown was killed by a roadside bomb in Kunar Province Afghanistan in December 2011. He was 30 years old. His wife Stephanie was left with two young daughters to raise. Kaylee was 4 and Leah was 2 when they lost their dad. For almost 8 years the Wildrick family has been living in the Blairstown area with family members. Kaylee and Leah have been sharing a room. That all changed yesterday thanks to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation's Gold Star Family Home Program. Stephanie, Kaylee and Leah now have their own mortgage free home in Blairstown. Stephanie heard about the work of the Tunnels to Towers Foundation and applied to the program last year. Tunnels to Towers representative Caroline Magyarits told the New Jersey Herald the foundation's mission " Was to make sure Ronald Wildrick's service and sacrifice would never be forgotten." Wildrick grew up in Byram. To donate to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation visit Tunnel2Towers.org. God Bless the Wildrick Family.
