After the recent heat wave lead to the cancellation of OZY Fest in New York's Central Park. One of the headline performers headed to New Jersey for a snack. Grammy Award winning singer John Legend walked into the Shop Rite in Linden to purchase something sweet and delicious! A picture provided to NJ.Com by Shop Rite shows Legend in the store standing next to someone holding a package of Haribo Gummy Bears. No one is sure if this was his only reason for stopping into the supermarket. It must have been pretty exciting for anyone in the store who realized who he was. It looks like Legend didn't mind being recognized either. He is smiling in the photo.
