The Green Township Committee has cleared the way for medical marijuana to be grown in the township. On July 15th an amendment to the township's zoning ordinance was approved allowing medical marijuana to be grown in the agricultural industrial zone. The vote was unanimous. The committee is clearly being proactive. The township clerk told the New Jersey Herald no marijuana growing operation has expressed any interest in the township yet.
