I'm not ready for Thanksgiving! I don't even have a turkey yet. I bought three turkeys and donated them to Stuff the Bus but I didn't pick up one for my family yet. We're playing Christmas Music and just finished Stuff the Bus too. I just don't feel ready. This weekend I saw so many wonderful generous people at First Hope Bank and Shop Rite. I think almost 60 turkeys were donated on Friday alone. Then when I got home on Saturday I was pleasantly surprised to see Kim's boyfriend had already started to set up the outside Christmas lights. They looked great. All that's left is the lights we hang from the roof. Since it was wet and cold on Sunday we took Miss Gracie to Flagship Cinemas in Matamoras to see Frozen 2. My daughter Kim even dressed her up as Elsa. She looked adorable. My son Matt also dropped off two of solid wood end tables on Sunday. He is moving and has no room for them. They belonged to my dad who bought them 45 years ago unpainted. My dad and I sanded, stained and varnished them ourselves. They're 45 years old but I'll never part with them. I hope when I'm gone one of my kids will appreciate them.
