My "Homebody" Weekend in Pictures

Radio is show business. I make my living entertaining and talking to all of you. You might be surprised to know that I'm also a real home body. I've always gone out and taken my kids places. However, there's also a part of me that really enjoys being home. This weekend was pretty much about the "homebody" side of my personality. I did go out on Saturday and Sunday but it was pretty much a weekend to enjoy being home. On Saturday we donated some of Gracie and Christopher's excess toys and baby items in Milford. Then did some food shopping. Shop Rite had some great coupons this week. On the way into the house my daughter Kim dropped the eggs. Six of them were cracked. When life cracks your eggs scramble them with Taylor Ham. It wasn't the lunch we planned to have but it turned out to be very enjoyable. My Taylor Ham even had grill marks. The rest of the afternoon was dedicated to getting everything organized for our income taxes. All 3 of my sons still rely on me to file their local income tax and my friend Felix McIntyre still does all the rest of our taxes. I really can't stand the local 1 percent local income tax many towns charge residents in Pennsylvania. It's called the Act 32 or Berkheimer Tax. Just a sneaky way to raise property taxes and a pain to file every year. Kim finally entered Christopher in the Gerber cutest baby contest. I've been nagging her to do it. Why not? He's adorable. Kim also did Gracie's hair in a cute heart braid for Valentine's Day. She's a great mom. On Sunday I went to church, visited my sons and made fresh meatloaf. Since we recently found out my daughter has a problem with gluten. I used gluten free bread crumbs for the meatloaf. They looked like sand. Instead of expanding in the pan the meatloaf shrunk. It still tasted really good though. There you have it. On second thought, maybe we should call it my "busy home body" weekend in pictures.
