My " Dog Daycare" Weekend in Pictures

My daughter and her family went to Long Island for the weekend. They left their dogs home with me. Three elderly Chihuahua's who need to go outside quite often. They bark a lot too. Lucky for me the weather was very nice so all the dogs had plenty of time in the yard to use up some energy. My dog Maddie loved running around the yard with her 3 little friends too. We all missed the kids this weekend. Maddie's sadness was pretty clear. Saturday and Sunday afternoon she went to sleep right next to the door to Gracie's room. In between dog sitting duties I did manage to get a few things done. I watched a You Tube video and did a D.I.Y. project. The project was replacing the 5 year old ripped steering wheel cover. It was a struggle, but my new steering wheel cover is on. I also feel 20 years younger because watching a You Tube video helped me get the project done. I was afraid I was going to break off the steering wheel. Last week my daughter offered to give away her old stroller on Facebook Marketplace. Another weekend project was dropping off the stroller with the family that asked her for it. It felt good to know the stroller was in the hands of another young family that will appreciate it. Speaking of Facebook I posted a picture of a painting my great grand father did about 100 years ago. I was hoping someone would know the location of where he did the painting. So far there have been many compliments but no location. I think it's somewhere in North Jersey or New York State. Take a look at my pictures and see if you recognize where it is. Since it felt like spring home repair and improvement projects entered my mind. So I also took a trip to Home Depot to buy new molding for under my kitchen cabinets. After years of dampness and floor washing the old moldings were pretty gross. Hopefully, we'll get the new ones up this week.
