On CNN yesterday Governor Murphy said a healthcare recovery must take place before New Jersey's economy can re-open. On CBS he said opening the economy too soon could be like "throwing gasoline on the fire." Over the weekend over 3,000 new cases were added. As of yesterday. New Jersey has over 61,000 cases of corona virus with over 2,300 deaths. Sussex County now has 460 cases and 24 people have died. In New York the number of corona virus cases grew to over 188,000. Over 9,000 people have died. Governor Andrew Cuomo said hospitalizations are decreasing. Pennsylvania continues to have far fewer cases than New York and New Jersey. The state has over 23,000 cases with over 500 deaths.
