I totally love going out to events and doing live broadcasts. Especially when it's summer and I'm outside. This summer there probably won't be too many live broadcasts so I've set my mind to enjoying the lifestyle I've worked for my whole life. I'll be spending much more time at home with my family on summer weekends this year. There will also be extra time to enjoy my pool and concentrate on my flowers and garden. This weekend I opened the pool and freshened up the landscaping around it. My cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes are off to a good start. I planted more cucumbers from seed and they're coming up. My son Matt gave me some hanging baskets that I repurposed as planters for my driveway. The decks are stained, the outdoor furniture is power washed and my grill is ready. We grilled some delicious T-Bone steaks on Sunday. I took Miss Gracie for a swim yesterday while I vacuumed the pool. I already promised her that we'll go swimming again today. The weather will be perfect. My daughter also took the best picture ever of my grandson Christopher. I'll be blowing it up to an 8 by 10 and getting it framed soon.
