The September 11th Memorial in lower Manhattan partially reopened this past Saturday July 4th. Family members of September 11th victims and front line Covid-19 workers were the first to have a chance to visit and pay their respects. The outdoor section of the memorial site was open to the general public on Sunday. Safeguards are in place. Which include face masks, deep cleanings and social distancing. The indoor 911 Memorial Museum is still closed until further notice.
