Illinois, Kentucky and Minnesota were added to New Jersey's voluntary quarantine list yesterday. That brings the total number of states to 34. To make the list a state must have more than 1 Covid-19 case per 10,000 population. New Jersey, New York and Connecticut started their mutual list of quarantine states a few weeks ago. While New York has threatened big fines for violating quarantine. New Jersey approach is more about public information. Only 4 states west of the Mississippi River are not on New Jersey's new list. Those states are Oregon, Colorado, South Dakota and Wyoming. Travelers from West Virginia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and every other state north of New Jersey won't be bothered either. New Jersey still has the second highest number of Covid-19 deaths behind quarantine partner New York.
