Sussex County Man Charged After Hitting Pedestrian in Lowe's Parking Lot

A Sussex County man is facing several charges after hitting a pedestrian in the parking lot of Lowe's in Flanders. According to the Sussex Daily Voice, Gregory Summers was under the influence and "showed obvious signs of impairment."

The pedestrian he struck was reportedly taken to Hackettstown Medical Center with minor injuries while Summers failed a series of sobriety tests.

The 64-year-old Ogdensburg resident was allegedly charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane and then released to a sober driver.
