Federal Judge rules Pennsylvania's shut down was unconstitutional

Many months after Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolfe did what many other governors across the country. A Federal Judge has ruled his corona virus lock down of Pennsylvania was a violation of the First Amendment right to assemble. U.S. District Court Judge William Stickman IV said the closing of businesses, orders to stay indoors and limits on the size of gatherings were all unconstitutional. The suit was filed by fours counties in western Pennsylvania and Republican legislators. The judge acknowledged the Governor's actions were taken with the "good intentions of addressing a public health emergency." Then went on to say: "The liberties protected by the Constitution are not fair weather freedoms. In place when times are good but able to be cast aside in times of trouble."
