A legendary Sussex County music venue is at risk of closing due permanently due to COVID-19 shutdowns. According to NJ.com, The Stanhope House lost over six figures on missed box office revenue this year and their outdoor beer garden, which opened in June, hasn't done as well as expected.

Capacity limits and social distancing restrictions reportedly make it impossible for the music venue to profit off an indoor show and cold weather threatens to end their outdoor concerts. To make matters worse, Manager Ren Giliberti told the news publication that the PPP loan they acquired in the spring provided little relief.

A GoFundMe was created in March to help the club but it has only raised $2,700 of its $10,000 goal. The Stanhope House is one of many privately owned venues in America that is facing closure as experts reportedly say that full-capacity concerts won't resume until next year, or even 2022.
