My "Here comes Thanksgiving" Weekend in Pictures

Stuff the Bus was surely different this year. In past years we've had a promotions team to help us set up equipment at our live broadcasts. These days we don't have a promotions team so I had to set up all the equipment myself. I was concerned my technical skills might have gotten a little rusty. This morning I'm proud to tell you I got all the equipment and our set up together just fine. Joan from the Sussex County Department of Social Services was managing the bus while I was inside the Franklin Shop Rite encouraging donations. According to Joan, in spite of the very tough year donations were going very well. We should have some final numbers tomorrow. This weekend my son and his soon to be bride moved into their new home. So I spent the remainder of Saturday hanging out in his man cave. Which has a very nice projection system for movies and T.V. I'll be hiding from my grand children there quite often. Speaking of grand children Christopher has become a real dare devil and climber. We can't take our eyes off him for one second. I posted a picture of him trying to stand on his new sit down scooter. Meanwhile, Miss Gracie was a little comedian this weekend when she said grandpa "Bugged her out." I guess it's because he expects her listen and behave. We also did all the shopping for Thanksgiving Dinner on Friday Night. I didn't want to buy a 23 pound turkey but that was all the store had left. I will be having family at my house so hopefully it will get eaten or possibly I'll freeze what's left over. Sunday when I went to church we used the pipe organ for the first time in many years. The leathers in the organ are breaking down and we can't find someone to replace them. So we only use the organ sparingly. It was just great to hear it being used again. At the end of the service the whole congregation broke out into spontaneous applause.
