Instagram recently tried to figure out what each state's favorite pie is. Over the past month Instagram tracked "likes" and "mentions" of various pie flavors across the country. The top pie for New Jersey and our neighbors in New York was blueberry. Well, before you get too surprised we do grow a lot of blueberries ere in Jersey. So there might be something to the results turning out the way they did. In Pennsylvania, the most popular pie was sweet potato. I live in Pennsylvania and I've never tried sweet potato pie. Pennsylvania is a big state and I'm originally from New Jersey so that's not too surprising. The next time I have a chance to try some sweet potato pie I'm going to do it! In the meantime, whatever happened to apple pie? In our entire country, Connecticut is the only state that made apple pie their number one choice. Oh well apple pie. Better luck next year.
