WaWa has finally completed it's purchase of The Chatterbox

I really miss having a buckaroo burger. The Chatterbox was one of my favorite restaurants. My family enjoyed countless birthday celebrations and lunches there. Don Hall hired great kids to work there and he always stopped by our table to say hello. For over two years The Chatterbox has been closed. The building just sitting there at Ross' Corner. Everyone's been wondering what's been going on. We got some answers last week when Don Hall told the New Jersey Herald his agreement to sell the restaurant to WaWa had been finalized this past December. When WaWa will actually open a convenience store at the site is still uncertain. Hall couldn't say anything about when the restaurant will be torn down or when new construction will begin because he no longer owns the property. It still might be a while. WaWa has not listed Augusta as one of it's new locations yet on their website.
