It took a while. Maybe it should have been up and running several weeks ago. At least it's up and running now. NorthJersey,Com is reporting a call center to help New Jersey residents make an appointment to get their Covid-19 vaccine will be operational this morning at 8 o'clock. Having a computer will no longer be necessary to make an appointment. Hopefully, more elderly residents of the state will be able to schedule when and where to get vaccinated. Last week, State Health Commissioner Judy Persichilli said the call center will be staffed by 250 agents. There will be an interactive voice response system in English and Spanish. The call center number is 855- 568-0545.
