The Dingman's Ferry Bridge will be closed for annual maintenance starting Monday June 7th. It is scheduled to reopen at 4PM on Friday June 18th. The historic bridge is the only privately owned toll bridge that crosses the Delaware River. Every year the bridge closes for maintenance. While it's closed the wooden planks that make up the deck are inspected, repaired or replaced. Commuters will have two options while the bridge is closed. Travel 8 miles north to the Milford Bridge or 25 miles south to cross on Route 80. The Dingman's Ferry Bridge first opened in 1900. It connects Dingman's Ferry, Pennsylvania and Sandyston, New Jersey. The toll is $1 each way.
