The Franklin American Legion Post has always organized the borough's Memorial Day Parade. This year and last year COVID-19 prevented the post from organizing a parade. So this week the Franklin Borough Fire Department put in a request to host the parade instead. Chief Khyle Conklin got the approval of the borough council this past Tuesday Night. The parade will form up Monday morning at the firehouse. Then step off at 10:30. It will end in front of borough hall on Main Street. Where there will be a small Memorial Day ceremony to honor all those who died serving our country.
