My Epic Weekend In Pictures: I Survived Yankee Country!!!

Due to my soon to be replaced aging computer, this Epic Weekend In Pictures will be more pictures than words. Almost ready to transition to my new computer, almost!

This weekend was definitely very memorable. Friday night I started the weekend with a Titos and Seltzer at Moonshine Tiki Bar. Always fun seeing some friends, that's for sure! Saturday I got some errands done like cleaning things up at my place. Fun cleaning times, right? Saturday afternoon we spent the day at The Sussex County Fairgrounds. The 6th annual New Jersey Taco Festival is one of my favorite days all year. We had plenty of fun at the VIP tent. Steve does a great job running this, and always remembers the time I did a Facebook Live video at our radio station dipping shrimp into his hot sauce. While I'm not personally into tacos, they're usually loaded with Steve Killers and I'm very picky, I do LOVE me some hot sauce. Bring the heat!

Sunday I kept things low key watching my first NFL Sunday funday all season, watching my Patriots lose to the Miami Dolphins. It was a painful loss, but I'm definitely confident we have our quarterback of the future with Mac Jones. He's very likable.

Monday, here we go! I took a vacation day and went to Yankee Stadium for my first time ever. My bestie Brad won the tickets last month, and the game was originally going to be a few Sundays ago but 6 inches of rain changed that. The seats were once in a lifetime in section 118. Seeing The Yankees star Aaron Judge in person was impressive. His size and stature in person are so similar to former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Brad took me to Stan's, which is apparently the famous bar closest to Yankee Stadium. It was pretty wild feeling all of the history around you. I got a kick out of the license plate that made fun of my Boston Red Sox.

It was only fitting my "Welcome To NYC," moment happened immediately after we got there. I almost stepped on an enormous dead New York City sewer rat!!!! Comedy gold.

Overall we had a wonderful weekend. I survived Yankee country! Time to start planning next weekend, where I'll be attending a USA Wine Trader's grand opening!
