My Epic Weekend In Pictures: At Times I Was Without Pants.

Well elephant in the room I missed the Oscar Awards last night. I was filling in for Steve Andrews on our 102.3 WSUS Morning Show, so bedtime was before 8pm for me last night. WOW. I still can't believe that video of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock. WOW.

This weekend involved so many fun memories that I won't be forgetting anytime soon. Friday night was SO much fun cheering on Cinderella sensation Saint Peter's University Peacocks. Truth be told, a month ago I didn't even know that Saint Peter's University was based in Jersey City. They are such a scrappy, hard working team of lovable underdogs. I'm confident by Sunday that unless you were a UNC Tar Heel fan, you were likely rooting for The Peacocks. Shout out to everyone who is still talking to me after I was obnoxious Friday. Friday was National Peacock Day, and I was annoying several friends with peacock fun facts.

Friday night their tip off was at 7:09pm, and we were cheering them all on at The Cottage. It was such a fun, memorable experience cheering on our local school during March Madness. Growing up in New England, I took for granted how fun it was to have everyone at a large sports bar cheering on the same team. In New Jersey, some fans are Giants fans, Jets, or Eagles. It's very rare to have a television sporting event where every person is rooting for the same team. In this case, all of us were loudly and proudly cheering on Saint Peter's University Peacocks.

Saturday on a whim I felt like getting in some retail therapy at Woodbury Common Outlets. It was my first time there since December my goodness how fast time flies, right? My goal was to get a new A Team dark denim pair of jeans. Since I'm a glorified soccer dad without the kids, my travels had me find myself in the True Religion store there. I walked in wearing a lighter pair of True Religion jeans. The cute blonde manager was a sweetheart working so hard by herself. We couldn't seem to find my fit / size even though I was going for what I thought would be pretty basic, just a pair of dark denim regular or loose fit. I can't do skinny fit or slim fit because they my chicken legs look like stilts. It's not a pretty picture, trust me.

We couldn't tell by looking at the tag on the caboose of the jeans I was wearing the exact size / fit information. My new friend Tonya ended up borrowing my pants while I was in the dressing room. I was feeling quite vulnerable whilst being pantless. I joked that she had my whole life in her hands basically LOL. I should ask her out for a drink since she's already seen me in my underwear anyway.

Sunday we watched Saint Peter's University magical story come to an end. UNC Tar Heels were just too big and fast for our lovable scrappy bunch. I had fun seeing my bestie Carrie and giving her flowers I purchased at Price Chopper in Warwick. It was great to see her and catch up, she also got a kick out of my pantless story lol. Only me. While I was alone in my boxers in the dressing room, my life felt like a Seinfeld or Friends episode. The one with Steve alone missing pants. LOL.

Overall we had a wonderful weekend. Thank you for taking the time to read my Epic Weekend In Pictures. Time to start planning next weekend!
