New Jersey drought concerns easing but one reservoir is below 50 percent

So far September has brought us some rain. Water levels at some New Jersey reservoirs have risen. Most of our state still remains in what experts call a "moderate" drought. The Wanaque Reservoir is still below 50 percent but it's back up reservoir The Monksville is at 88 percent. The Wanaque supplies up to 190 million gallons a day to Newark. Patterson, Wayne and other surrounding communities. Bill Maer spokesman for the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission told North Jersey. Com: "The next few months are historically the period we get a decent amount of rain. The agency is not concerned at this point about our current reservoir levels."
