The new central point for Netflix east coast productions will hopefully be in New Jersey. Company officials unveiled plans for a $900 million facility at the former site of Fort Monmouth yesterday. Nexflix hopes to build 12 sound stages totaling close to 500,000 square feet. The local approval process still has to take place. The plan has the support of Governor Murphy. Fort Monmouth closed over a decade ago.
