Pequannock Officers rescue pair from car sinking in freezing water

Pequannock Police just released video of a scary rescue of two men after their car plunged into a local pond. The incident happened a couple of weeks ago on Sunday April 2d. Water in the pond was freezing cold at the time. The driver and passenger were in a car that was sinking in a small pond at Cedar Crest Village. The responding officers ran into the pond and pulled both occupants to safety. One of the people rescued told EMS: "The water was up to my neck...Next thing i know a police officer was helping me out of the car."
