Keith Hernandez missed a scheduled on ESPN Sunday Night. Then missed another appearance on WFAN yesterday morning. Radio host Boomer Esiason was so concerned he talked about it on the air: "I think we gotta send somebody over to the house, I'm not being funny here." Co host Gregg Gianotti did reach out the law enforcement in Southhampton to do a welfare check. The gold glove first baseman was located a little while later. When Keith called into the show he said: "I must have the ringer on my phone turned off. The phone didn't ring. It was a ground line you called and it didn't ring. I just woke up." He said he missed his ESPN appearance on Sunday because he didn't have a good internet connection. Mets fans like me love Keith Hernandez. I hope he is OK but I'm not totally convinced.
