The Port Authority went after some be time toll avoiders in 2023. The agency just announced it's increased enforcement efforts lead to recovering $25 Million. It seems unbelievable to me that some companies and individuals weren't made to pay sooner. E.M. Padilla Trucking in Weehawken owed over $200,000 in unpaid tolls. JRK Xpress of Reading, Pennsylvania owed $185,000. Some individuals got away with avoiding an "impressive" amount of tolls as well. Someone in Englewood will have to pay the port Authority $136,000. A woman in Teaneck is going to have to pay $135,000. It looks like they've all been getting away with cheating for a long time.
