The Tunnel to Towers Foundation just finished renovating the home of severely injured New Jersey State Trooper Sean Acker. The home is in Howell Township. Tunnel to Towers built a 1000 square foot addition to Acker's existing home. Which will allow him to move back in and be close to his family. Sergeant First Class Aker suffered a severe medical injury back in February of 2022. The next three weeks were spent fighting to survive. He's been living in a long term rehabilitation facility ever since. Acker served as a New Jersey State Trooper for seven years. He is also a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation builds specially designed mortgage free smart homes to help catastrophically injured military veterans and first responders live as independently as possible.
