My Epic Weekend In Pictures: Bulls On Parade!

Editor note: Due to vacation long weekend next week, the update probably won't be posted on here until later Tuesday. This Weekend In Pictures we will lean heavy on videos as opposed to text. Talk about an Epic Weekend! We'll start with Friday afternoon where I was able to see my friends at Lentini Farms in Newton, right past Newton Medical Center. They let me do a behind the scenes preview Facebook Live video to show all of their fun, new attractions. They definitely take making their events bigger and better seriously! The 10 acre corn maze that I've been lost in before, new stage for live music, new beer tent, plus so many fun photo opportunities all over the place! I don't recommend jumping in the tubs of corn like I did. In addition to the corn kernels there were also itchy things that stuck to me. I couldn't take my socks off fast enough after this, lol. I also ended up going home with delicious red apples too! Win win!

Saturday morning I ventured out to Rockaway Mall for my first time in a bit. My goals were to get a quick shoulder / neck massage, hit the Bank Of America ATM, and maybe have some lunch. I went to The Bank Of America ATM where a lady in her car ahead of me came over and said "just to save you the trouble I had, the ATM is broken and not dispensing any cash." Okay, there's one strike. I then went into Rockaway Mall to get a quick massage. I don't need much, just those folks in the middle of the mall who can usually help work out my knots a little bit. It's usually around a dollar per minute basically. I then did a lap around where they have always been, and the massage therapists were nowhere to be found. So much for that! I then went to Buffalo Wild Wings and had a good lunch. Hot boneless wings, fries, and an ice cold draft Miller Lite beer. Success!

Driving by Bank Of America ATM on my way to Buffalo Wild Wings I could tell that there was a technician attempting to fix the broken ATM. On my way back I gave them one more shot, and now the ATM was working! I didn't get everything accomplished I set out for at Rockaway Mall, but overall success. I then was able to go to my Heaven On Earth Happy Place, Crystal Springs Vista 180 Pool. I was so saddened to learn it was their last weekend of being open. Welp welp. I'm already looking ahead to next summer then! I was able to meet up with besties work wife Shawn and Lauren. It was great getting to catch up with them. Saturday night I had a quiet night in.

Sunday it was time to make my way over to The Sussex County Fairgrounds for Sussex County Day. I know, back to back weekends for me at The Fairgrounds. It really is remarkable how dramatically different the setup can be at The Fairgrounds. I was looking at so many cars where just 6 weeks ago it was all of the carnival rides at The New Jersey State Fair Sussex County Farm & Horse Show. Just last weekend, everything was action packed for The New Jersey Taco Festival. Sunday there was tons of fun all over for Sussex County Day. I give Tammie and The Sussex County Chamber Of Commerce so much credit for not just making this event bigger and better every year, but also fighting to keep it affordable for families. $1 bottles of water, $2 hot dogs, and $1 for a slice of apple pie. The mechanical bull rides only cost $2. Affordable fun for the whole family!

My Fantasy Football Teams didn't do awful, but not great. It looks like I'm going 1 for 2 in my Fantasy Football Teams. Ironically the one I'm winning this week is my team where my start player top draft pick San Francisco 49ers Running Back Christian McCaffrey is out injured for at least a month. Ugh. This flipped my team upside down and many others as well, as he was often the first or second player selected in these drafts!

Overall I had a great weekend. Time to start planning next weekend where I'm going to a beautiful wedding on Cape Cod, then seeing my family later. Time to start packing!
