The growth in new home owners across New Jersey has been pretty small over the past four years. Sussex County did have the biggest increase in homeownership according to a recent study by Turbo Debt. Since 2020, 3,754 families became new homeowners in Sussex County. That's a 3 percent increase. The largest increase of all 21 counties in New Jersey. Sussex County is a great place to live and work. Let's hope recent slightly lower interest rates help this trend to continue.
