The weekend before Christmas came fast this year. We had one less weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas because of where the holidays were on the calendar. This very busy weekend for me included a live broadcast at Nielsen Nissan while Santa visited. It snowed Friday Night but many kids did come to see the man in he red suit. Seeing a young child's face when they first meet Santa never gets old. On Saturday night we went to the Skyland's Stadium Christmas Light Show. Which was a blast. I truly enjoyed how creative some of the decorations were. It's open past Christmas so you still have time to fill up you car with family and friends and go.
On Sunday it was really cold so I made one trip out of the house to buy the food I'll need for Christmas Day dinner. Back home my grand children returned from their dad's house a little early, So we decorated Christmas Cookies. My daughter got our dog Millie a special stuffed animal dog toy for Christmas. We gave it to her on Sunday and she took a liking to it right away. I think Millie provided the comedy this weekend for sure, Friday night she chased the cats around half the night and kept us awake. Then she feel asleep with one of the cats right next to her. Last night she took her new toy to bed, I hope you enjoy the pictures below.
