Yesterday morning the day started with temperatures hovering around zero degrees. That's when a dozen Sussex County Fire Departments were called out to respond to a large structure fire in Hampton Township. The blaze was at the Carriage Acres Development. All sides of the building were already engulfed in flames when the call went out at 7:30. Thanks to the quick response and manpower of 12 local fire departments the fire did not spread and there were no injuries.
