Pike County Light & Power doesn't get the full rate increase as they wanted

I live in Matamoras. The proposed more than 10 percent rate increase requested by Pike County Light and Power had customers fuming. Last week the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission did approve a rate increase for PCL&P but not as much as they wanted. Instead of a 10.6% increase the board unanimously approved a 5.7% rate hike.

A partial victory for more than 5 Thousand residential and business customers.
