Almost one year ago, I ran my first ever 5K for my buddies at OSCAR One Step Closer Animal Rescue. I met Awesome Girlfriend Megan, and ran my first 5K in 26:12! I was and still am so proud of this accomplishment. Then last July, I injured my back resulting from stress. After rehabbing my back for all these months, I finally was able to hop back on the treadmill last week. I'm basically following the Couch To 5K system, which many say has worked for them. This morning, I ran one mile, walked a half mile, jogged 3/4 of a mile, walked a half mile, jogged another half mile, then walked a quarter mile. As I said leaving the gym this morning to my friend, "One Step At A Time." #onestepatatime
