The parking permits would be charging Vernon residents $1, and non residents $5. Last week there was some speculation involving $25 parking permits for non residents. Many are saying it's more crowded and dangerous than ever before at Vernon's Appalachian Trail Boardwalk, due to web sites that keep mentioning our hidden gem thus letting our secret out to everyone! I say it all the time, whenever my family and friends visit me from out of town The Boardwalk is one of my top destinations. I LOVE IT! Hopefully we can come up to a solution with this soon.
