"The Franklin Borough Police Department investigated a complaint of child endangerment within the Borough. A juvenile, thirteen or younger, reported receiving inappropriate message requests from a 19, year old man from Wantage, New Jersey. The complainant indicated that the juvenile received the messages from the 19-year-old male, via messaging applications. An investigation into the matter resulted in the arrest of Julio C. Lorente the III, 19, of Wantage New Jersey. Mr. Lorente is alleged to have made inappropriate requests to the 13-year-old child, and further alleged to have had inappropriate contact with the child. Mr. Lorente was charged with child endangerment and released pending a first appearance in Sussex County Superior Court.The complaints that were filed are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The charges may be presented to a grand jury for potential indictment."
